Isotopically labeled standards play a central role in modern quantitative proteomics and metabolomics, providing highly accurate and reproducible reference materials for LC-MS/MS analyses. Protected amino acids, available as FMOC and TBOC derivatives, are the building blocks of solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS), enabling researchers to incorporate precisely labeled residues at defined positions within a peptide sequence to generate high-quality internal standards.

On the metabolomics side, our MSK mixes and kits simplify method development and quality control by supplying pre-formulated, dried-down combinations of metabolites — from the 20 uniformly labeled amino acids in MSK-CAA to the 33-component organic acid mix MSK-OA-1, as well as bile acid, TCA cycle, and credentialed yeast/E. coli extract kits. Each kit is supplied with a user manual outlining preparation, processing, and reference resources, so results stay consistent from one experiment to the next.
