Ultrahigh-purity carbon monoxide for electronic and semiconductor manufacturing

High-purity carbon monoxide is also used for electronic and semiconductor applications. CIL is a primary manufacturer of ultrahigh-purity CO (UHP) for specialized electronic and other applications.

Semiconductor fabrication processes demand extremely tight control over gas purity, as trace-level impurities can affect device yield and performance. Ultrahigh-purity gases such as CO are typically monitored and qualified down to parts-per-trillion contaminant levels before being used in fabrication tools.
